This homemade apple chips recipe is a yummy and healthy snack for toddlers, big kids and adults. An ideal snack for camp, school and on-the-go. Just load up your Sage Snackie or Munchie bag and you're good to go!
Ingredients - use organic whenever possible
4 apples - washed and thinly sliced about 1/8" thick. Any variety of apple will be yummy
Preheat oven to 250 degrees and line 2 baking sheets with unbleached parchment paper. Arrange the apple slices on the baking sheets in a single layer and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place the baking sheets into the oven on the center rack and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Flip apples, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for another hour. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. These homemade apple crisps will stay fresh in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
